What happens when we break the natural rhythm of things?
Matzali is the story of a fruit in the hands of humanity. An interactive first-person experience. A meeting to play again. Matzali is a visual performative installation, inside a tent and suitable for all public.
We live fully in the 21st century where technology and innovation are the protagonists. Immediacy and superficiality are the new fashion, in a world where, right now, everything seems to be possible. These currents are difficult to avoid and, sometimes, they carry us away. But, what effects do they have on our lives?
Matzali is a theatre experience that mixes skills, using found objects, physical theatre, magic and artistry through collective collaboration with the audience. The people who enter the tent participate in the story in an active and direct way by manipulating the objects and creating scenarios, thus becoming collaborators in the artistic event.
Two performers guide the audience members along the 50 minutes of this unique experience. These performers lead and shape the stage rhythm, and encourage the participation of the attendees.
